Regional LELLE Conference on Learning to Learn: Beyond 2020!

LELLE invites experts and practitioners to discuss future learning competences

On Thursday, 1st of June 2017, the Erasmus+ project LELLE (Let’s Learn how to Learn) is holding a regional conference at the Open University of the Netherlands, Heerlen. Theme is “Learning to Learn: Beyond 2020”. The aim of the conference is to share and learn about on-going challenges as well as the huge potential in the changing educational landscape and the global workplace of the future. The conference hopes to empower all who are involved in education and the workplace with inspiration and tools to stay relevant in the 21st century.

Stay relevant in the 21st century

LELLE stands for “Let’s Learn how to Learn”: The project embraces a long-term vision to equip graduates with core life-skills making them ready and mobile for the job market and the workplace. Students, teachers, graduates, practitioners, researchers, budding entrepreneurs, industry players, policy makers etc. are invited to join the conference in order to network and to share their experiences, perspectives and views on the changing scenes in the educational landscape and the 21st century workplace.

Presentations, workshops and a poster walk

The conference programme features a 2-hour plenary session in the morning on “Bridging Gaps between the School and the Workplace” and three workshop sessions on “Rethinking Education in the Changing World” in the afternoon. During the lunch break participants can showcase their recent work in the poster walk. A description of the plenary session and workshop series can be downloaded from the LELLE website.
