Looking outside the window red, yellow and brown trees are passing with 300 km/h. Flat landscapes are being alternated with somewhat more mountain like surroundings (disclaimer: if you’re Dutch, everything that’s not flat can be called a mountain). After Roland’s invitation to take part in a survey on augmented reality and wearable technologies in education, I would like to shed some more light on the project behind the survey – the Wearable Experience for Knowledge Intensive Training (WEKIT) project. The three-year research and innovation project is supported under Horizon 2020 and brings together thirteen consortium partners representing academia and industry from six countries in Europe. LELLE: New project on “Learning How To Learn” is starting!

LELLE is the new project on “Learning How To Learn” and it is starting tomorrow! The kick-off meeting will take place from 14th to 15h of December 2015 in Nagykanizsa (Hungary). LELLE will focus the “awareness raising to the importance of and providing an innovative solution for the inclusion of the training of learning skills in existing higher education curricula”: The European Erasmus+ proposal was selected for funding and the Open University of the Netherlands (OUNL) is one core partner of the consortium with a total budget of 300,000,- €.
